Happy Gilmore Movie at Allentown Municipal

Happy Gilmore Movie at Allentown Municipal

The City of Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation’s movie series continues Saturday, September 30 on the 10th tee box at Allentown Municipal Golf Course with a screening of “Happy Gilmore.”

All Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler) has ever wanted is to be a professional hockey player. But he soon discovers he may actually have a talent for playing an entirely different sport: golf. When his grandmother (Frances Bay) learns she is about to lose her home, Happy joins a golf tournament to try to win enough money to buy it for her. With his powerful driving skills and foulmouthed attitude, Happy becomes an unlikely golf hero -- much to the chagrin of the well-mannered golf professionals.

The approximately 92 minute show will begin at dusk (approximately 7:15pm). The movie is a comedy rated PG-13 for language and some comic sexuality.

Jack’s Slice will be offering food and drink specials during the movie.
