In early 2015, a “Cold Case Homicide Team” was formed within the Criminal Investigations Division of the Allentown Police Department. This investigative team is comprised of two detectives and a sergeant. Their primary mission is to review older unsolved Homicide cases, and to reevaluate Missing Person Cases and Death Investigations which appear suspicious in nature. Some of these cases date back several years.
