Residents can rid their homes of expired or unused prescription and over-the counter medicines during National Take Back Day drug collection events in Allentown on Saturday, October 26.

Pennsylvania Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine today alerted residents who visited several locations in the Allentown area between October 7 and October 12 they may have been exposed to measles.

The Allentown Health Bureau will offer naloxone (Narcan) for a limited time on Wednesday, September 25 as part of Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf’s Stop Overdoses in PA initiative.

The Allentown and Bethlehem Health Bureaus, along with Northampton and Lehigh County State Health Centers, will once again be providing free naloxone as part of Governor Wolf’s Stop Overdoses in PA initiative.

The Allentown Health Bureau and its partner agencies will conduct two Car Seat Check Events in the city next week as part of National Child Passenger Safety Week which runs from September 15 through September 21.

Thursday, June 27 is National HIV Testing Day.
