The Cancer Prevention Program provides free education programs to address cancer issues in our community. The goal of these services is to reduce incidence (number of new cases developed) and mortality (number of deaths) of those cancers that have been identified as preventable or more successfully treated if detected early. The program focuses on the most common forms of cancer – breast, cervix and gynecologic, colon/rectum, ovarian, prostate and skin.

Primary Services:

  • Conduct FREE cancer education presentations.  The available topics include breast cancer, cervical and gynecological cancers, colorectal cancer, ovarian cancer, prostate cancer and skin cancer.
