Rates:
Residents: $75.00
Non-residents: $150.00

Payment and Insurance Deadlines

All Leagues: 50% down payment due upon receipt of invoice. Final payment due within 30 days of your last rental date. Insurance due at least 30 days before the start date. To learn more about the benefits and process of becoming a league, please refer to this document.

All Tournaments: Payment due in full upon receipt of invoice. Insurance due at least 30 days before the start date.

Pick-up game: Payment due in full at time of reservation.

Any renter or organization planning on having more than three (3) occurrences in one (1) calendar year will be considered a LEAGUE and will have to follow the guidelines listed above for leagues. NO EXCEPTIONS

All "new" leagues must have a new league meeting with the Parks and Recreation office and must follow the process outlined in this document

 

Fee Schedule

Baseball Fields:

  • Per game (2-3 hours): $40
  • Per day: $100
  • 2 fields same complex: $175
  • 3 fields same complex: $250
  • 4 fields same complex: $325

Football/Soccer Fields:

  • Per game: $40
  • Per day: $100
  • 2 fields same complex: $175

Basketball Courts:

  • Per game (2-3 hours): $25
  • Per day: $90
  • 2 courts same complex: $175
  • 3 courts same complex: $250
  • 4 courts same complex: $325 

Volleyball/Tennis/Racquetball/Handball/Pickleball Courts:

  • Per day: $25
  • 2 courts same complex: $35
  • 3 courts same complex: $55
  • 4 courts same complex: $70

Miscellaneous Rates:

  • Roller hockey 1 game: $25
  • Roller hockey 1 day: $65
  • Cross country: $75

Tournament:

  • All sports: $200 per field/court per day

Requirements:

  • Map of desired location.
  • Certificate of Liability Insurance naming the City of Allentown as the additional insured in the amount of $1,000,000. The Certificate Holder must read:

    - Must include a copy of the Additional Insured Endorsement Page, in ADDITION to the certificate of liability insurance, naming the City of Allentown as the additional insured.
    - Must include the date(s) of your rental in the “description” section.
    - Must be submitted at least 30 days prior to your event.

Rates:

$640.00 - Inside City of Allentown limits
$75.00 - per additional day

** Final Balance due no later than 30 days following your event date

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!   The City of Allentown and the Department of Parks & Recreation wish you all the best in your new lives together.   We are so pleased that you have requested information on using the Malcolm Gross Rose Gardens to celebrate your marriage ceremony.   

Below, please find the usage details for wedding ceremonies held at the Rose Gardens.   

  1. There are no reservations for the Rose Gardens.  All weddings are on a first-come basis. If you arrive and there is another party being married, please wait for them to conclude their ceremony before beginning yours.
  2. Please respect the Gardens.  To protect the integrity of the Rose Gardens, no more than 25 people should be at your ceremony. No rice or flower petals are allowed to be thrown.
  3. Chairs should not be set up unless absolutely necessary for the handicapped or elderly.
  4. No food, drink or alcohol is permitted. No Receptions may be held in the Rose Gardens.
  5. No amplified music is allowed. If you would like to bring a small stereo for a wedding march, you may do so, but the volume should not be turned up louder than absolutely necessary. Bands, DJ's and car stereos are not allowed.
