BID 2010-14 LEHIGH RIVER TRAIL- SEGMENT 1
Type: Bid
The City of Allentown is proposing to construct a 0.75+ mile trail on City lands along the east side of the Lehigh River. Segment 1 will extend from South Albert Street approximately 100 feet south of the existing Norfolk Southern Railroad at-grade crossing to the point where N. Bradford Street intersects the Adam's Island access road. Proposed improvements from the southern limit of work to the point where the proposed trail leaves South Albert Street will not involve any earth disturbance or repaving, but will include signage, replacement of an existing stormwater inlet grate or grates with bicycle safe grates, and roadway markings. Segment ends where N. Bradford Street intersects the Adam's Island access road. The portion of the trail between S. Albert St and N.
